This meeting was a follow-up to the one on March 19, 2014 when the Recycling Committee presented its proposals for changes to Swap Shop operations to the BOS at their work session.
Today, those present discussed the need to have BOS approve by vote at its regular BOS meeting a number of the proposals presented on March 19 that the BOS verbally supported, including revisions to the Committee’s Charge, and the proposed new regulation banning resale of Swap Shop items.
The Committee agreed to work with Nan Balmer to develop these items by Monday, March 31, for distribution to the BOS for their review prior to their April 7, 2014 meeting.
